Join the Somerset Woods Trustees for a family-friendly Earth Day community and stewardship event at Kennebec Banks Rest Area!

We’ll gather and begin volunteer tasks at 11 AM. Volunteer tasks will include:

Primary Goal: Trash pickup from Cleaver Landing along Route 2 (high-visibility vests will be provided for those picking up trash along the roadside).

Secondary Goals: Painting / staining select picnic tables and overhangs, and moving and re-anchoring a picnic table to a new location.

As tasks finish, we will shift to enjoying lunches we brought from home in community and connection with each other.

Food will not be provided, so remember to bring your lunch and enjoy a relaxed gathering with neighbors while celebrating local conservation, access to protected lands with public access, and our beautiful Earth!
