AYDEN GRIMM, ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION COORDINATOR

he/him/his (Why Pronouns Matter)

Ayden is a 2025 graduate of College of the Atlantic where he studies botany and ecology with an emphasis on conservation and restoration.

Ayden first joined our seasonal team as a Rockefeller Conservation Intern in 2023, returning in 2024 and 2025 as our inaugural Parkman Hill Farm Intern and Fellow and joining the full-time staff in 2026 as our ecological restoration coordinator. Ayden is from Portland and grew up hiking, climbing, and adventuring throughout the forests and beaches in Maine. He is passionate about spending time in nature, hiking, biking, backpacking, and whatever other activities might take him outside while also trying to help maintain and improve its ecological health. He is an even bigger plant nerd, and he loves to learn about the history of land and land use in different areas.
