PATRIC MOORE, SPECIAL PROJECTS

he/him/his (Why Pronouns Matter)

A familiar face to many, Patric joined Somerset Woods as a project consultant in July 2026. Patric is working closely with our executive director on land acquisitions and special projects, helping us navigate increasingly complex land acquisitions and better keep up with the demand for conservation on the Kennebec, Sandy and Carrabassett Rivers.

Patric is a 10-year U.S. Air Force veteran with a passion for helping communities, entrepreneurs, and small businesses thrive. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Patric earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University before completing a master’s degree in Food Business from the Culinary Institute of America.

Patric first came to Maine while serving as an Active Duty Air Force Recruiter in Waterville. What began as an assignment quickly became home, and after falling in love with the people and the state, he decided to put down roots in central Maine.

Most recently, Patric served as the Director of Entrepreneurship at Main Street Skowhegan, where he worked alongside aspiring and established business owners to help them launch, grow, and strengthen their businesses while supporting broader community and economic development efforts. Today, he continues to work as an independent consultant, partnering with organizations that are committed to building vibrant local economies.

Outside of work, Patric enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his dog, Barkley. He's currently on a mission to visit all 36 of Maine's state parks and is always looking for the next adventure.
