Somerset Woods Share Updates
Looking for volunteers! -
The Woods Share is close to having 15 cords of firewood processed for our recipients this winter. We need more helping hands, especially for stacking firewood! If you are interested in helping please consider signing up for a volunteer event, no previous experience is needed and volunteers can arrive/leave as they prefer from 9AM-12PM.

Firewood Frenzy Volunteer Workdays -
Help split firewood for the Somerset Woods Share at our site in Solon. No prior experience is needed, be sure to sign up in advance HERE!
Firewood Frenzy events occur every Saturday except on weekends with a national holiday. Volunteers are welcome to join us anytime from 9AM - 12PM. Upcoming events are on:

Firewood Donation!
We received a donation of firewood from the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture! They delivered ~1/2 cord of split firewood to the Somerset Woods Share early in September, bringing our processed firewood to a total of almost 14 cords! Thank you to the crew at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture for not only helping out their community members with this firewood donation, but also for splitting the firewood before delivery!
