Join Maine Master Naturalist, Stephany Perkins, in a stream study and aquatic insects inventory. Learn how macroinvertebrates (bugs!) can help indicate water quality through bio-monitoring. 

This will be a hands-on activity with participants invited to get their feet wet. Water shoes, boots, or waders are encouraged! 

Event leader Stephany Perkins is a Maine Master Naturalist and Registered Maine Guide. As a natural resource educator she enjoys connecting people with their own backyards through hands-on place-based exploration and fostering environmental stewardship.
