Join us for our fifth of a six week Walk & Talk series across Somerset Woods Trustees properties!

Meeting at the parking area past the bridge, we will both navigate off trails and explore some unmaintained woods roads. Terrain is relatively mild, but the tread (footpath) is uneven. Expect that we will be navigating through overgrowth as these trails have not been developed. Boots or sturdy hiking shoes and hiking poles are recommended.

What you can look forward to: exploring one of Somerset Woods newest preserves, community within a quiet pine and hardwood forest, extensive river frontage, and observation of habitat for the imperiled Brook Floater, a rare freshwater mussel.
