The Maine Conservation Corps Trail Crew will be finishing up trail work at Wesserunsett Stream Preserve - the home stretch of a 2-year project! Arrive at 2 PM to help them finish up any work, or simply come by to celebrate the completion of this project.
This event is suited for people of all ages. Participants can help the crew work, or simply take a walk around the preserve to enjoy some of the newly established trails.
If choosing to participate in work, tools and personal protective equipment (such as work gloves and eye-protection) will be provided by Somerset Woods Trustees, although participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. Working participants should expect to sign a waiver upon arrival.
Somerset Woods Trustees will have a tent set up with refreshments available.
We ask that all participants please RSVP so that we can plan for a successful event!
